With a licence to hold Civil Wedding and Partnership Ceremonies for up to 100 guests and a function room large enough to cater for up to 200 in the evening, this stunning York venue is well prepared to cater to your every need.

On Sunday 5th May 2024, this idyllic countryside hotel is teaming-up once again with award winning events company The UK Wedding Event for a free wedding fayre offering engaged couples the chance to see it all for themselves.

Around 35 top wedding suppliers will be attendance to help brides and grooms plan their big day.

Admission is free from 11am but all visitors are encouraged to pre-book e-tickets for fast track entry.

The UK Wedding Event

The UK Wedding Event is an award winning Yorkshire based wedding fayre organiser. Our flagship shows take place at York Racecourse twice a year and at The Centenary Pavilion at Leeds United’s Elland Road.

In more recent times, we have also added further large scale events to Ripon Cathedral, Headingley Stadium and Sheffield Wednesday’s Hillsborough Stadium.

In addition to our big shows, we also organise more intimate wedding fayre at select number of hotels throughout the calendar year. Tickets for all of our shows can be pre-booked via the Eventbrite platform or through our own website.
